 What you’ll be doing:

• Drive the technical vision for Power BI solutions, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Design reusable data models, dataflows, and semantic layers.
• Establish and adhere to governance standards for dashboard performance, quality, and reusability.
• Work closely with data engineers to align models with business needs.
• Manage dashboard deployment processes, including refresh automation and user access.
• Improve performance through efficient modeling and loading techniques.
• Support integration with BigQuery and other cloud-based data sources.
• Mentor Power BI developers and promote consistent development practices.
• Take part in design discussions to standardize data visualization methods.
• Oversee the user experience and stability of the reporting platform.

 What we’re looking for:

• Expert-level knowledge in PowerBI, including DAX, PowerQuery, and semantic modeling.
• Hands-on experience managing PowerBI Service and deploying at scale.
• Familiarity with integrating data from BigQuery, APIs, and SQL databases.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles for dashboard design.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
• A strong sense for storytelling with data and user-focused design.
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on long-term sustainability and system thinking.
• Capable of building solutions that are scalable and easy to maintain.

Experience Required:

• 6–9 years in business intelligence or reporting.
• At least 3 years leading efforts in data visualization and governance.

Tools & Technologies:

• PowerBI (Service, Desktop, Premium)
• DAX (advanced), PowerQuery
• BigQuery connector and DirectQuery configurations
• Dataflows, Row-Level Security (RLS)
• PowerBI, APIs and deployment pipelines (optional)

Technical Expertise / Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate (preferred)
• Deep knowledge of semantic model design
• Experience optimizing report performance and applying visualization best practices
• Skilled in publishing and managing enterprise-grade PowerBI environments
