About the Role:
We're seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Director of Engineering to lead and mentor our engineering teams. This is a hybrid role based in CDMX, offering excellent benefits and a competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a large engineering organization, mentoring managers and fostering a culture of high performance.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of large-scale SaaS applications.
- Collaborate effectively in a matrixed organization and with globally distributed teams.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software with speed and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years' software engineering expertise, including at least 8 years in a leadership capacity, successfully managing and developing high-performing engineering teams (experience managing other engineering managers is a must).
- Deep practical knowledge of building and scaling SaaS applications; proficiency with Ruby on Rails and AWS is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with and delivering projects to US technology clients.
- Exceptional leadership skills and proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures and globally dispersed teams; a strong influencer.
- A consistent track record of delivering sophisticated software projects on time and to exacting quality standards; demonstrated ability to optimize product development cycles.
- Advanced English fluency is required.
