The role:

In charge of driving the integration´s success with OXXO, the app and future new channels by breaking large initiatives into smaller tasks and managing their processes and timelines. Also responsible for maintaining and creating all the Channels integration of SPIN in a technical perspective. SPIN Channels: APP, OXXO Stores, in the future other merchants and B2B.

Responsibilities:

• High expertise in the all the flows and integration related with the user's channels (Now: APP, OXXO Stores, future: other merchants, B2B), to make the best decisions with the solutions to be develop.
• High Flexibility and agility in all the development and integration made by their teams, enabling the short-term solution always thinking in the long term and scalability of the product.
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
• Record data and reporting it to proper parties.
• Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
• Coordinate the Back End development agenda with other members in the team to accomplish the expected results.
• Be compliant with all the documentation need it for the CNBV auditing.
• Improve and follow the development process, also the CI/CD pipeline already defined.
• Take lead on projects, as needed.

Requirements:

• High expertise in BackEnd development, focusing on Java 8, Spring Boot and Microservices
• Experience using JavaScript, PaaS, working with NoSQL database (preferable MongoDB), Rest API's, Lambdas and Kinesis
• Nice to have experience using AWS and Serverless
• Be able to manage a team of 2-4 developers
