ROLE: Medior Back-end Developer (RoR)

ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking experienced software engineers for our team who have a passion for building robust, scalable, software and systems for customer-focused financial products, love learning new technologies on the job, think creatively to solve complex problems, and enjoy working collaboratively.

MUST HAVES

4+ years of relevant experience building and supporting production software

Experience with Ruby, RoR

Expertise with PostgreSQL

In-depth experience with relational databases

Experience with agile methodologies

Expertise AWS

Advanced English

NICE TO HAVES

Databricks, Spark, or Hive

Strategic experience with iOS, Android, and React web clients and integration with distributed cloud micro-services

OVERLAP

Overlap is required from 9am to 5pm ET daily

INTERVIEW PROCESS

1h30m panel interview (technical & cultural)

1h30m live coding session

Requirements & Notes

Location restriction: Latin and North America. (9am - 5pm overlapping EST or PST).

Assessment path: Backend: Ruby/Rails

Client interview process: 90 minutes of cultural and technical and 90 minutes of live coding session.
