Seaya Cathay Latam – VC Investor

Seaya Cathay Latam is a joint fund between Seaya Ventures and Cathay Innovation looking for exceptional startups that will have a lasting, positive impact on Latin America. It targets consumer and enterprise companies developing technologies in areas like fintech, proptech, mobility, healthtech, food, agriculture, and cybersecurity.

Position: Full-time Location: Mexico City Job description:

Within the process of reviewing investment opportunities, portfolio management and all the associated analytical tasks (valuation, legal implications, business plan analysis, etc.), Seaya Cahtay Latam is looking for an Investor to perform:

• Business, commercial & financial analysis of potential investment opportunities
• Market research (sector analysis, competitors benchmarking, etc.)
• Meetings with potential investees
• Elaboration of company valuation reports
• Development of presentations of the investment opportunities
• Investment proposals for new opportunities
• Requirements:
• Enthusiasm about Venture Capital and the Tech/Internet industry
• 2-5 years previous experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking,
• Strategic Consulting or Startups
• Ability to prepare business valuation, financial analysis of companies, etc.
• Analytical profile
• Communication and interpersonal skills (both spoken and written)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Fluency in English and Spanish. Portuguese will be valued
