Overview
A Mid. Sr. Back-end Developer is an intermediate-level position requiring at least 3 to 4 years of experience as a Developer or similar. The primary responsibility of a Mid. Sr. Back-end Software Engineer is to develop, and maintain software applications. They should be familiar with programming languages, software development tools, and methodologies. They should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, they should be able to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and end-users.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work collaboratively with the architecture used in the company for specific technology frameworks -> Check below.
- Lead and work with unit testing following a “Test Driven Development” process.
- Contribute to creating, updating and maintaining technical documentation for our development projects.
- Participate in technical assessments for development projects and provide accurate time estimates for project tasks and deliverables.
- Strategize and plan out the development of an application from scratch.
- Participate in code reviews and provide overall technical direction and feedback for a project to other Developers.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the development team.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders such as project managers, product managers, and clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Leading code reviews, testing, debugging, and QA phase of an application.
- Learn new programming languages, frameworks, and technologies as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
- At least 3 years of experience developing with the native language of the framework as a Back-end Developer or other programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience developing applications with the framework.
- At least 3 year of experience of proven work.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and architecture
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deadline-driven and extremely organized.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages.
- Strong attention to detail and technicalities.
