Responsabilities and Activities

As an Android Framework Developer for Android IVI, you will work with others to provide solutions for application and framework development on an embedded environment that are reliable and reusable

• Develop embedded Android services and components for the IVI system using the AOSP middleware.
• Create Java middleware services to support embedded Android applications.
• Create C++ middleware services to support embedded Android applications.
• Root cause errors and reliable software solutions are provided by designing, documenting, integrating, and testing APIs and SDKs that offer services for media, phone, navigation, speech recognition, and mobile device connectivity.
• Be a part of designing, documenting, and developing software components.

Skills

Must-have:

• Java programming language experience
• C++ programming language experience
• Android Development experience (AOSP) developing or enhancing Android Framework services to support Android Applications interfaces (API)
• Software development experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms
• Experience with AOSP internals and Android NDK APIs
• Experience implementing Android Native Daemon services
• Advanced English Skills (C1)

Nice to have:

• Experience & knowledge of Android Automotive
• Experience in Automotive Infotainment systems
• Experience with modules like media, phone, navigation, speech-recognition, and mobile
• device connectivity.
